The Second Typhoon Nationals Is Off To A Great Start

The 2012 Typhoon Nationals Planning Committee just met.  Headed by Ron Mihills, this strong group of volunteers is off and running.  With one Typhoon Nationals under its belt, the goal is to make the second national regatta even better.  Since more Typhoon racers are competing in weekly races and the number of boats increasing, we know that the enthusiasm is growing.  There are now 44 boats on Carter's Creek in Irvington, VA and another 20 on nearby creeks and rivers.

Please follow this blog for updates on events and plans.  Also check the RRYC Typhoon blog for information on Wednesday night races and other regatta opportunities. http://rryc.org/typhoonracing.asp
